We shop at your competitor hotels, evaluating their rates on specific equipment and services, and provide you with a detailed Excel spreadsheet. We include pricing and any available written menus. For smaller hotels that rely on outside vendors, we will attempt to obtain the necessary information directly from them and pass it along. You can also set your own criteria for the report.
Many hotels offer package pricing for commonly used items and services. In such cases, we will note the package name, pricing, and provide a breakdown of what is included. All AV menus are included in our reports at no extra cost to you.
Our AV specialists contact the hotel’s AV department, posing questions based on a potential group event. We inquire about pricing for a few items and typically request a menu to avoid wasting their time on specifics we might not need. This approach saves hours of phone calls for individual items and often results in more comprehensive information than originally requested. Any issues encountered during the process will be reported in the comments section. Each item you requested pricing for will be listed and recorded on the spreadsheet for your convenience. If a specific item is unavailable, we won’t substitute it with a comparable one; instead, we’ll note the difference in the comments section if applicable.
The typical turnaround for these shops is two to three weeks. However, if we gather the information sooner, we will send it to you immediately. The pricing covers up to five of your competitors, with the option to add additional competitors for an extra fee. The report will be delivered to you via email in Excel format.
