Corporate-negotiated rates play a crucial role in hotel revenue management. They provide valuable insights into competitor pricing, enabling you to fine-tune your strategies, thereby optimizing hotel revenue and profitability, enhancing client satisfaction, and securing long-term corporate clients.

We offer two types of corporate-negotiated rate shops: enhanced and standard. Below, you’ll find details about each option.

Enhanced Shops

To ensure you receive the most accurate and valuable information, we now offer an enhanced shop. These shops provide a detailed and comprehensive analysis, offering deeper insights and additional metrics on hotel market data and trends. For a slightly higher fee, we utilize the corporate codes of national chain hotels (e.g., Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt) to gather this data for you. Please note that this enhanced report does not include all hotels, particularly small chains or boutique hotels. For those that do not offer corporate codes, we follow the standard report process described below.

Standard Shops

Standard shops involve the basic collection and analysis of hotel data on corporate rates provided by competitors. While this approach offers a foundational understanding of the competitive landscape, it has more limited information compared to enhanced shops. During standard volume shops, we contact the hotel directly and request to speak with the reservations department. If the hotel employs in-house agents, we speak with them; otherwise, we are typically transferred to a Central Reservations call center.

In cases where there is no availability or limited availability on the initially selected date, we will search for a date with more open availability. This is the only instance where your dates may be adjusted. If a rate exists but is unavailable on your chosen date, we will search for a better option to obtain the information you need.
