Room Service Shop

The Room Service Shop has a detailed analysis and insights into a hotel’s room service operations. It will include assessments based on mystery calls to gauge the quality and efficiency of room service. These calls help gauge service standards, response times, and the overall guest experience. The shop will also provide a thorough analysis of hotel expenses related to room service, which will help your hotel manage costs effectively and improve guest satisfaction.

For the Room Service Shop, we gather hotel intelligence on your competitor’s room service offerings. Who doesn’t like an ice cream sundae in the middle of the night, or the middle of the day for that matter? If the hotel offers their guests 24-hour service, we will let you know that as well. We will make every attempt to get a copy of the menu that is offered for in-room dining, and we will break the charges down for you. Menus are always passed along to you at no additional cost.

Our agents will first browse the hotel website to see if any room service information is available online. If there is no information, or very limited information, a call will be made to the hotel restaurant to see if they offer room service. We will pose as a future guest trying to set a budget for upcoming travel and ask a few questions about what is on the menu. We will get the basics of what meals are offered, i.e., early riser specials, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and drinks. In the comments section, we will add information about any service fees or extra charges. We will let you know if there are any restrictions, the hours of availability, and any gratuities that are added to the bill.

This shop is for up to 5 of your competitors; however, more hotels can be added for an additional fee. If you have any special requests that you would like us to inquire about, please note that on your order form, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

This report will be delivered to you as a professional Excel spreadsheet will be sent to you via email. The turnaround time is generally two to three weeks; however, if we can complete the report sooner than that, we will return it to you immediately.
